Principal - Mr Nick Jensen

Kiwitahi is a real country school. The warm smiles, the community engagement, the farming kids half way up a tree in gumboots, the deep freeze filled to the top with home kill, the well-loved bus driver, the brushed and groomed calves, kids and lambs on Calf Club Day, the dirty knees, the chickens out the back, the 5 year olds who like to talk about how little rain we've had, the loved teachers and the principal teaching in the classroom (not sitting in the office!) - we have it all here at Kiwitahi!

My family and I count ourselves very fortunate to call Kiwitahi home. We are delighted to be able to share this special place with you, too. Kiwitahi School has educated Kiwitahi children for over 100 years. This school is as strong today as it ever has been. We are proud of our #SmallButStrong attitude. As far as we're concerned, our Kiwitahi kids can grow up to conquer the world.

I invite you to visit our school. I regularly show families around and I'm always proud to tell them about what an incredible school this is, and what fantastic opportunities our children have.  It's difficult to explain in writing the magic that happens here on a daily basis. To understand that, you have to see it for yourself.

You are warmly welcome here. Nau mai, haere mai.
